LESSONS- WEEKLY

Our lesson program is designed to assist equestrians of all abilities and ages in reaching their horseback riding and competition goals. We offer private and group riding lessons that addresses the needs of beginners through advanced-level riders.
Our goal is to create a fun and safe environment, while recognizing the abilities in each of our riders while helping them to reach their full potential.
We require that all riders begin their experience at Maple View Equestrian Center with one private evaluation lesson. After one or more private lessons, the rider may be placed into a group lesson with other riders of similar experience if the trainer feels the rider can join in on a group session. This is not always the case with very young riders who need a little more one on one direction. Space is limited for group lessons and riders will only be accepted for the group lessons upon approval from their trainer.

PRIVATE
These lessons are designed to have you and your horses work one on one with a trainer to accomplish and meet your personal goals. Every lesson will be evaluated in order to create a specific program with the horse and rider's individual goals in mind.
5 - 7 YEAR OLDS- Our trainer will use this time to create a safe environment with lessons focusing on the fundamentals. They will learn all about ground manners, leading, grooming, and tacking, along with mounted lesson that is specifically built for them. You may schedule every other week for this young age group. These lessons are always private until they meet the goals to move into a group setting. Our goal is to be able to move through the levels that allow each rider to gain more independence and build confidence.
